A tinnie is the most common denomination of weed that you can find in New Zealand. It is often argued over how much pot should come in a tinnie (most people say about 2 grams), but you can be certain that a tinnie will always come wrapped in tin foil and will usually cost you $20 NZD. In Australia, tinnies are called foilies — cause its a different place and all.
