AB-PINACA is a compound that was first identified as a component of synthetic cannabis products in Japan in 2012. The pharmacological properties of this compound have not been formally studied or reported in the scientific literature, but it is presumably a cannabinoid agonist as it was found alongside a structurally related compound AB-FUBINACA which had previously been reported as a cannabinoid agonist in a 2009 Pfizer patent.
