Chuck Ream

Charles "Chuck" Ream (born 1946) is a cannabis activist. Born in Three Rivers, Michigan, he was later elected five times as a trustee of Scio Township, both as a Democrat and as a Republican. In 2004, he “retired” to spearhead the Ann Arbor medical marijuana campaign successfully. He formed the Safer Michigan Coalition (along with Time Beck), uniting Michigan's cannabis activists.

In 2014, he received the High Times Lester Grinspoon Lifetime Achievement Award at the Medical Cannabis Cup Awards in Clio, Michigan.
